Hairsentials is a platform that helps barbers and barbershops run their businesses: bookings, memberships, payments, messaging, loyalty, storefronts, and related tools. Barbers use it to sell their services; clients use it to book and join memberships with barbers.
We provide the machinery. The services themselves, the haircuts, the shop policies, the prices, belong to the barber. Hairsentials is not a party to the agreement between a barber and their client.
Hairsentials is currently in beta. Features are free during beta, may change, and occasionally break. We publish what's live on our roadmap and fix things fast, but the service is provided as-is during this period.
When paid tiers launch, we'll tell you clearly and in advance. Nothing converts to a paid plan silently, and founding-cohort pricing commitments will be honored as published on our pricing page.
You're responsible for your account and for keeping your password private. You must provide accurate information and be legally able to offer the services you list.
Shops can invite staff; owners are responsible for the activity of accounts they invite.
Card payments, memberships, and payouts are processed by Stripe under their terms. Hairsentials never stores your full card details.
Barbers set their own prices and policies, including deposits and no-show fees. Where a barber's policy charges a fee (for example, a no-show fee against a saved card), the barber is responsible for making that policy clear to their clients, the platform enforces what the barber configures.
The platform sends messages on your behalf: booking confirmations, reminders, and (if you enable it) AI-assisted replies and win-back texts. By enabling messaging you confirm you have the right to contact the clients in your book, and clients can opt out of messages at any time.
Don't use Hairsentials to break the law, spam people, misrepresent your services, or harm others. Don't attempt to breach or abuse the platform's security. We can suspend accounts that do.
Your photos, your client list, your prices, your brand: yours. You give us the limited license needed to display them where you ask us to (your public page, your messages).
You can export your client data at any time, and there are no lock-in contracts. If you close your account, we delete or anonymize your data as described in the Privacy Policy.
To the maximum extent the law allows, Hairsentials isn't liable for indirect damages, lost profits, or disputes between barbers and clients. During the free beta, our total liability is limited to $100; after launch, to the fees you paid us in the previous 12 months.
We may update these terms as the product evolves; material changes will be announced before they take effect. Continued use after a change means acceptance.
